Theron Fox (Theron Viljoen) is an actor, filmmaker, and interdisciplinary creative whose work spans acting, directing, writing, and production. Born in South Africa and raised across Grenada, California, and New York City, Theron has been captivating audiences since childhood. His journey as an entertainer began at age three, dancing and singing for family during the holidays, and by twelve, he was performing full-scale magic shows for crowds across Long Island.

He went on to earn a double major in Drama and Archaeology at New York University, training in the Experimental Theatre Wing, Stonestreet Studios, and the International Theatre Workshop in Amsterdam. Alongside his acting work on stage, screen, and immersive projects, Theron has built an extensive portfolio behind the camera. He has written and directed original short films, contributed to camera work and special effects design, and worked as a production assistant on both independent and large-scale sets. He also continues to expand his voice acting portfolio, narrating audiobooks and voicing characters in commercials and interactive media.

 

In 2025, Theron relocated to London to pursue a Master’s in Bioarchaeology and Forensic Anthropology at University College London, focusing on primate behavior, osteology, and early hominid pathologies. His parallel career as an archaeologist has taken him to excavation sites across Europe and the United States, experiences that enrich his creative practice and inspire his fascination with untold human stories.

In addition to his professional work, Theron pursues passions that keep him grounded and playful: from competing in national archery contests and organizing lightsaber dueling meet-ups, to volunteering with animal shelters and fostering rescues.
